The Indian National Bibliography

The flagship effort is the Indian National Bibliography (INB), compiled and published by the Central Reference Library in Kolkata. The Central Reference Library functions as the National Bibliographic Agency of the country and operates as a subordinate office under the Ministry of Culture. Its primary objective is to compile and publish the INB, an authoritative record of books published in 14 major languages of India including English, based on material received under the Delivery of Books Act.
